Sometimes it is good for me as a photographer to put a little distance between the time I shoot the wedding and the time I edit the wedding. That way, I end up forgetting about some of the images I shot and I get to rediscover some of my favorite parts of a wedding day. I found some great shots that I don’t even remember taking. Also, I can’t say enough good things about my favorite second photographer, my beautiful wife Allison. She brings a fresh set of eyes every time we shoot together and I learn so much from her.
I need to mention how great it was working with Joe and Katie. They are absolutely beautiful inside and out and their wedding day was perfect! When we took their engagement pictures, Katie brought so many great ideas and you can see that that was just the beginning. I loved so many of the details starting with her accessories and continuing into honoring her parents and grandparents with their wedding dresses set up on mannequins at the reception.
